The Terms & Conditions for Transportation Services
when chartering a Motorcoach includes reservation policies,
payments, use of equipment, departure locations, and
pricing.
DEPOSITS/FINAL PAYMENTS: When booking
a motorcoach, a deposit is required in the amount of
$50.00 per day within 10 days of booking for each day
the equipment is reserved. Final payment must be received
at least 30 days prior to departure. Final payment must
be received before the reservation is given a final confirmation
and equipment is dispatched.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: Cancellations
received at least 30 days before departure will receive
a full refund of any payments. For cancellations received
30 - 15 days before departure, one half of deposit will
be refunded. Cancellations received 15 days or less before
departure will receive no refund.
PRICING: Prices quoted are based on
costs available at the time the quotation was requested
and are subject to change without notice until reservation
is confirmed with a deposit paid.
DEPARTURE LOCATIONS: Red Lion has
agreements with several area locations for departure
pick ups. You may request other locations, but obtaining
permission is the responsibility of the charterer, and
subject to approval by Red Lion. Because of safety considerations
and insurance regulations, Red Lion can not board passengers
along any highway or road. For all parking/boarding locations,
no liability is assumed by Red Lion.
VIDEO EQUIPPED MOTORCOACHES: You can
request a video equipped motorcoach (subject to availability),
however, this is an EXTRA CHARGE ITEM. This option allows
activation of the video equipment. Federal laws control
the showing of movies on a motorcoach. If you are interested
in requesting a video coach, please request a copy of
the Red Lion Video Policy. A VIDEO BUS WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED,
AND THE VIDEO EQUIPMENT MAY NOT BE ACTIVATED UNLESS THE
OPTIONAL CHARGE HAS BEEN PAID PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
LUGGAGE/EQUIPMENT: One piece of luggage
per person is allowed (size/weight limits apply). The
total amount of luggage is limited to the capacity of
the luggage compartment. Safety considerations require
that no luggage except carry on (size/weight limits apply)
be carried in the passenger compartment. It is the charterer's
responsibility to inform all passengers that this rule
applies at the initial departure locations, and throughout
the trip. Some types of athletic equipment can cause
injury to passengers or damage the motorcoach when carried
in the passenger compartment. Items such as ski boots,
skiis & poles, golf spikes, shoes with cleats, and
other equipment which can cause damage or physical harm
must be kept in the luggage compartment. As in all safety/damage
related situations, the driver has the authority to enforce
the policy as may be required.
SMOKING: Smoking is NOT permitted
on the motorcoach. Contact our office prior to departure
if this presents a hardship for your group. Rest/smoke
stops can be made if scheduled in advance.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Alcoholic beverages
are permitted only if prior arrangements are made (EXTRA
CHARGES APPLY). Beverages must be in cans, and a maximum
of 2 coolers is permitted provided they can be kept on
the floor of the motorcoach in the rear without obstructing
the aisle. Glass containers and kegs are prohibited as
they present a safety hazard. You are reminded that strict
laws apply to the consumption of alcoholic beverages
for both adults and minors. The charterer assumes all
responsibility. The driver is authorized to require the
charterer and passengers to remove all beverages and
prohibited substances from the passenger areas.
OBJECTIONABLE BEHAVIOR: We reserve
the right to refuse to transport any person (s) for any
of the following reasons: conduct prohibited by law,
possession of prohibited substances, conduct that may
lead to personal injury or property damage, any action
that would interfere with the driver's ability to operate
safely, refusal to follow policies, and conduct which
is objectionable to others in the group. This policy
includes removal of violators from the coach while en
route (all travel arrangements/travel expenses are the
responsibility of the violator).
DAMAGE: The charterer is responsible
for any damage to the motorcoach, including windows and
seats, caused by passengers. A listing will be provided
upon request.
TRAVEL CONDITIONS: If in the judgement
of the driver, weather (such as a snow storm) or other
conditions present a clear and definite safety hazard,
travel may be suspended until such time as this safety
hazard no longer exists. All additional expenses for
food, lodging, etc., are the responsibility of the charterer
and passengers.
EVENT CANCELLATION: If an event such
as a baseball game or a concert is cancelled because
of weather or other reason, no refunds will be made if
he coach has left the departure location.
DISABLED PERSONS POLICY: Red Lion
will make every reasonable effort to provide special
accommodations for all persons with disabilities, as
defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Information
as to the type of disability needs to be provided as
soon as known so that we can accommodate these special
needs. 48 hours is the minimum time allowed to report
these special needs. No liability is assumed for accessibility
services promised by but not provided by any location
or business visited on the trip. For safety reasons,
the motorcoach may not depart with more than the rated
number of passengers, and all passengers must have a
seat. If a person is too large, or physically unable
to occupy a single seat, the chartering party must deduct
the number of seats needed by the specified individual
from the total rated capacity of the coach.
Any reservation or payment for charter service signifies
the Charterer's acceptance of all policies as stated herein.
